WORKPLACE
ASSESSMENT
The Integrity Group routinely carries out a “workplace assessment” when an employee lodges a complaint alleging inappropriate conduct on the job, or there are group interpersonal conflicts that are negatively impacting the workplace as a whole. A workplace assessment may also become necessary when an organization knows or senses that that there is organizational disharmony but cannot identify either its root or the point of its greatest impact, or both. Experience tells us that problems or grievances that appear to be relatively minor in nature are often indicative of more systemic employee or workplace dysfunction.
Workplace assessments are an excellent problem-solving tool since they can indentify and address organizational conflicts promptly and effectively without the need for a more costly, time-consuming, and invasive formal investigation. These assessments effectively identify the real issues and produce options for reestablishing a healthy and respectful workplace. These assessments allow all affected parties to speak candidly in one-on-one sessions within a neutral, non-judgmental forum where The Integrity Group’s experienced facilitators actively listen and assist the parties to find a workable solution—and avoid future problems. |
